I have had the opportunity to blend and bake with Bob’s Red Mill Nutritional Boosters over the last month and I’ve made some pretty yummy smoothies and goodies that have helped fuel my awesome! In addition to my daily smoothies, my hubby and teenager have helped fuel their awesome as well!  A favorite of the teenager is the Vanilla PB&J recipe that was provided on the back of the Vanila Protein Powder. But, my newest “creation” with Bob’s Red Mill are my Gluten-Free Banana Muffins – Protein Boosted! I used my favorite low-sugar, gluten-free recipe and simply added a serving size of the Vanilla Protein Powder. This gave my batch of six muffins another 3.3 grams of protein per muffin! Nutrional boost – winning! This will be how I make my muffins from now on! Who couldn’t use a little more protein, fiber and probiotics in their diets?!? I did a family taste test – they agreed they were a little fluffier and so yum! Now to try it with the Chai Protein Powder and oh my, I may have to hide those, yeah for real!             With Bob’s Red Mill products I know I’m getting products from the nation’s leader in stone milling and that they are dedicated to producing natural products in a natural way. Summer is here .. I am ready | #summerstrong |

Per the calendar summer is still a few days away, but for me the kids are out of school – so summer is here! My goal for the summer is to stay summer strong – so I can keep up with the busyness of the season. During summer sometimes things can get a little off track. With day trips, workouts and running adventures, never mind the usual laundry piles and vacuuming that needs attention, there is typically no schedule for summer. So things tend to be all over the place – sleeping in, staying up late, breakfast a little later, lunch more like early dinner .. which means workouts for me are also all over the place. Just yesterday I had my “me time” at 4:00 in the afternoon .. instead of the norm, which typically is upon waking up, after coffee!! Even with all of the busy, for me it is important my nutrition stays on point during all the summer fun. I need to keep my blood sugar stabilized with no highs and lows.
