That’s a wrap — my first Sweat Pink Ambassador Challenge! Week 3 of the Lorna Jane Move Nourish Believe Challenge and Fit Approach has come to an end ..

It’s amazing to me that one little everyday day challenge really helped me focus and take the time for me – I am not just talking about running for me, but really taking the time and think about who “I” am.

This week was all about BELIEVE! Believe in yourself and others. Here’s how it went:

Week 3

Monday: Spoil Yourself – As a busy mom, a few moments by myself outside taking in the sun with my feet up .. ahhhhh, I don’t remember the last time I did that! It was just a few minutes, but in my head it was beauty and peace and quiet all at once!

Tuesday: 5 Mindful Minutes – At night when the kids were in bed and the entire house was quiet, I had the dwindling fireplace all to myself .. I took the time to reflect on the day and sit in the complete dark .. Zen!

Wednesday: My Happy – Training for my first Ultra, a 50K, I’ve found a new happy on the trails, in the dirt and this day taking my crazy pup along for what is her happy too, a run.

Thursday: Thankful Thursday – My girl and her big smile running alongside me, seriously no other words .. just THANKFUL!

Friday: Share the Love – This was about sharing the love of your biggest supporter .. I chose my beautiful girl who is always leaving me Good Luck notes on the morning of my races. We’ve run a few fun runs and 5K’s together and maybe one day a half-marathon! She doesn’t know it .. but she is my motivation!

The past few weeks have taught me to step back and take a good look at how I’ve been running my life and to continue to Move Nourish and Believe.

MOVE: Fitness makes me a better person – inside and out.
NOURISH: I have to nourish myself so I can nourish my family, my biggest love.
BELIEVE: Believe in myself and have faith to keep it all going when all the craziness seems to be overwhelming.

On Wednesday there will be a #MNBChallenge Twitter Party .. Woo-Hoo – I can’t wait to see how everyone else has enjoyed this challenge! I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s re-caps and how they’ve put the Move Nourish Believe Challenge to work for them! Thank you Lorna Jane and FitApproach! It has been great! I cannot wait for the next one ..
